Mototek Supports Top Technician 2006 !
For the 2006 competition to find the UK's " Top Technician " , Mototek, the leading Automotive Technical Support business, is delighted to be providing Training and Technical Support for the competitors.
Mototek is lending its' support to the competition, by providing a free training seminar to all finalists in 2006.
Those who gain the highest scores on the questionmaire will be invited to a free training seminar hosted by Mototek. followed by a practical assessment aligned to ATA diagnostic technician level. this method of professional differentiation will benefit technicians and their employers.
Nowadays, being a technician is not pureky a mechanical taks. A technician is as likely to carry a laptop as a spanner ! New vehicles incorporate the latest technology and includecomplex on-board intelligence systems that require skilled interrogation.
Top technician is an annual competition that tests skill, knowledge and attitude of technicians throughout the UK. It encourages and rewards best practice, continuous improvement, training and specialisation in the latest vehicle technologies.

Mototek Increases Training Resource !
Mototek is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Softley, to the role of Training Programmes Manager. Mark has spent a lifetime in the Independant Automotive Aftermarket, as a Technician, Diagnostics Expert, College Lecturer, Trainer and Product Manager and now brings that experience to his new role with Mototek.
Mototek provides tailored Training Programmes for Corporate Clients, and Mark is already heavily inolved in preparing new programmes for 2006, as well as reworking existing programmes to bring them up to date incorporating the very latest vehicle technology. This new appointment has substantially increased the Mototek resource in Training, and Mark is keen to discuss new training opportunities with Mototek Corporate Clients, both old and new !
